Essie Spring Collection 2012! / haul

Hey guys!
Im really excited to show you the polishes I just got. They are no other than *drumroll* Essie's NEW spring collection!! They are supposed to hit stores Feb 1. BUT I already have half of them! So Ill be showing you guys the colors I got plus some other miscellaneous stuff I got.
This is what I just purchased
Okay this is just a random topcoat I just got ^^ w/ sunblock in it! LOL
Just a normal clear color. Still haven't tried it yet though.
What it  does
This is NOT a newly released color but I really needed a light blue.
"Borrowed and Blue"
Okay now onto the new colors!! This is the whole collection but I only bought the top three.
This is the one from the top left. Such a pale pretty green. I already used this one to do my one of my friend's nails.
"Navigate Her"
Next up is the light coral-like pink. I'm probably going to use this for my new tutorial ^^
"A Crewed Interest"
This color might seem like "Lilacism" or "St. Lucia Lilac" but wait till you see the next pictures,
This is one of my favorites so far.
In this lilac color there are tiny sparkles. Not many Essie colors have this.
"To Buy or Not to Buy"
Lastly, I bought some brushes. This one is a liner brush from Michael's.
Used to paint straight lines and to outline.
Size: 0 Liner
A short liner. Same use but on a smaller scale. Used for smaller details as well
Size: 10 Short Liner
and that's all!

Thnx for reading. Comment below and keep following for more updates!
Remember that the new collection will not be out till February 1!

Mash Haul

Hey Guys,
In this post i wanna show you some stuff I got about 1 month ago. All of it's from the brand 'Mash'. They have tons of stuff for nails. So go ahead and read :D
Shown above: Mash Nail File, Dried Flowers, and a Nail art tweezer.
Here we have the Tweezer in it's packaging. It came to me in the mail looking like this.
The Tweezer with cap still on
When it's open:
The Nail file. Its supposed to be glass and I heard that unlike emery board nail files, this one prevents nails from splitting. So far it's working pretty well.
These are SUPPOSED to be for lifetime since it is glass (unless you crack it)
If you wanna know why it lasts that long, look it up.
But anyway, it files my nails VERY well, much faster than normal files.
BUT I have just one complaint. Around the middle of one side of the file, it has stopped 'working', Like the surface has become smooth all of a sudden T.T
Dried flower nail art in the case.
clearer view
Green with cap on
clear view. I will only be showing a few of these flowers since the're all the same except diff. colors.
Pink flowers
clearer view. These are REALLY fragile and as you can see on the left, one of the flowers has lost its petals already :(
And that's it!

The Celeb's Mani. : Keke Palmer

Hey Guys,
So I decided to start another series of posts where I show you what celebrities wear : on their hands. Basically from time to time i'll put up a few posts on what the stars have on their nails for the red carpet/events. So for this post it will be Keke Palmer; I think she stars in True Jackson? Well anyway, these pictures were of her at 'Planet Hollywood' on  1/13/2012.
There she is~
Close up on her hands.
Voila! Its a sharp-pointy manicure, acrylic, Too long for my tastes tho.
And its a brown gradient with golden sparkles on the tips.

Thats all for now! Comment and Keep following for more updates!
I forgot to mention, my new blog template allows to search for posts. So if you want to show your friends something you liked, just type it in the search bar on the upper right. makes life so much easier!

A-Bridged Nails Tutorial

Hey Guys,
We are BACK with a new tutorial. This was inspired by mrcandiipants on tumblr. Okay so this design should fit in with the 'cold city' type theme. Perfect for winter if you want to get away from snowflakes and the common designs. Also, I decided to go with a pink background instead of white to change things up a bit. So without further ado, here it is:
This is what we will be working on today.
Okay pay attention to how the picture is going to be drawn :right side up from the TIP of your nail. You can check to see that you're not making a mistake by making sure the picture is NOT facing you. The bridge should look like this to someone you are showing this to.
Supplies to have ready: Black acrylic paint, nude nail polish, top/base coat and a thin paintbrush.
Put on basecoat
Put on 2 Coats of the beige nude color.
Get some black paint ready and a paint brush.
Draw one straight black line down the side of your thumb.
And another line
Then draw 3 lines down the middle. Make is slightly curvy like the cords on the bridge. It should not look as straight as a ruler.
Then draw 2 curvy line through the whole nail. One from each tip of the line. Paint on the lower one first to make it easier for yourself.
Now finally draw then wispy lines down the middle. It shud be slightly uneven.
(I smudged due to an earlier mistake.) Its not shown now but later you'll see it : PAINT ON A BLACK LINE HORIZONALLY at the tip of the nail. Like the surface of the bridge.
Srry, at my pointer finger I was so concentrated that I forgot to take pictures of the steps. Lucky for you guys, this is the easiest one. Like shown above, Just draw 2 lines and paint on mini vertical lines between them. Don't forget to ad the last horizontal line across the tip.
Now onto the ring finger, draw 2 lines down, the second one should be slightly longer.
Now like before, 3 lines down the middle.
Draw a 1 curvy line connecting nail to nail
And another one higher this time.
Vertical Wispy lines going downward
Horizontal line on the bottom.
Onto the ring finger! Curvy horizontal line across the line
This time draw a slight V-shaped curve.
You guessed it! more vertical lines. It should be a drawn little uneven.
Draw two lines down the pinkie with one longer than the other.
Draw 3 lines across then 2 curvy lines from each tip to the other side of the nails.
Then lastly draw vertical lines down the pinky.
Add top coat to make it really clear and glossy.
Finished!!!
Don't forget to comment and keep on following.

wow this post took me forever to post up. time for a break ^^
