"Opulence" Jeremy Scott Inspired Nail Tutorial

Hey guys,
I'm back with a new tutorial thats sooo simple and easy to do. This was inspired by Jeremy Scott's Collection "Opulence" Ill post a pic down below, enjoy!:

This is the dress I got inspiration from :)

These nails are what we will be aiming for today :) Its super simple!

Yup, this is all you need. The confetti is optional and the bottle to the far left is basecoat & topcoat.

Start off with a basecoat

Use the blue nail polish. I used about 2-3 coats

Use the gold and make squiggly lines as shown on the pointer finger.

Now do the same to ALL nails EXCEPT the ring finger nail.

This step is optional. If you do not own the confetti (which I got from a garage sale) then just paint your ring finger nail with the same squiggly lines.

Put topcoat on the confetti and carefully place on nails using tweezer so that it has a half-flower shape.

And we're finished! see how simple it was?

How to REMOVE Rhinestones/Nail art

Hey guys,
I recently did that tutorial where I used Rhinestones for nail art, but when I tried to take if off...I had a little trouble. I went all over the internet to find tips on how to remove them but I couldn't find any. So I took it off my way. This tutorial will show you guys how I did it and I hope it helps! :)

Okay so I took everything off but one nail. As you can see, there are 3 rhinestones on it.

So take any nail polish remover and put it on a tissue/cotton swab

SATURATE the tissue with remover so that its soaked then wrap around nail and press down. LEAVE it like that for about 3 minutes. You might have to do this twice but its still much faster than just rubbing your nail polish off.

Now it should look like this. Everything should be off except the gems. Time to take these off too!

Now Grab a pair of tweezers. The ones I'm using are Nail art/craft tweezers. You can find these in Duane Reade or any drug store's beauty section. Its around $4-something.

This is going to take a couple of tries, but use the tweezers, find a good grip and pluck the gems off your nails.

Be Patient.

After the gems are off, it might leave the rhinestone backing still on your nail. Dont worry, its very easy to take off. Do not attempt to scratch the silver stuff off.

Once again use your nail polish remover. It should take 1 swipe to get it off, its very easy, actually easier than removing nail polish.

And now its all off! It only takes about 20 minutes :)

Beige Criss-Cross Tips Tutorial

Hey Guys,
This is my first time posting a nail tutorial so please overlook any mistakes ;) I tend to mess up after I'm all finished T.T (smudging it) anyway.These nails were inspired by what I saw in a Korean magazine :D. Ill be adding "dialogue" on the bottom of each step to mention things I might have forgotten to post. So this is what we will working on:

Here are the supplies you will need more or less. The colors do not have to be exact, oh, and have a dotting tool at hand. (toothpicks, pen tips etc)

Start off with a normal base coat. (to protect your nails from stains etc)

                                                              Use a beige color to start off

                                        Use a striping brush and dip into a brownish color

                                                            Make horizontal lines like so.

                                                              Make another line below it

Make vertical lines down the middle

Sorry guys, here I was so into painting that I almost skipped a step lol. but basically follow the RING FINGER. Make white horizontal stripes between the brown ones.

Okay Now you make 2 vertical white stripes as shown.

                                    Here, you dot 2 specks of gold glitter in the middle of the white.

By now you're actually finished ,so this step is optional. get these or similar rhinestones.

Apply them to the ring finger AND thumb like so. Gold stone in the middle and white ones at the sides.

[Tip: use tweezers for accuracy]

Apply a topcoat and you're done!
